Firstly, apologies for the radio silence! Being in lockdown has felt like a complete rollercoaster: some days are good, some are bad, and I have struggled to stay motivated. Because of this I have not been enthused to write my blog. I’m taking full advantage of my productive mood today though and thought I’d share with you some of the new designs I have been working on, and introduce you to some new products on my Etsy.
Days of the Week Stickers
I started my Etsy store back in October 2019 and since then have worked hard to refine my design skills and get to grips with my sticker cutter machine. I therefore felt that some of my older products could do with a revitalisation. I therefore reworked my Days of the Week Stickers, the original designs of which proved really popular. This time I have made crisper, cleaner designs, but still retained the handmade feel. I’m so pleased with how they have turned out and hope that you like them too!
I have made these stickers available to purchase at a discounted price if you buy all four sheets. If you have a favourite of the four sheets you can also purchase them individually.
Home Comforts Stickers
These are brand new themed sticker sheets that I made a few weeks ago. I was bored at home and feeling a little gloomy, so decided to start drawing things that made me happy. My favourite sticker is of the Springer Spaniel because it based on my old dog Benji. These stickers have been heavily influenced by other designer’s whose work I have really admired, such as @chey.barton, @ellieballillustration and @nicole.josephinee. They are sure to bring a smile to your face when you use them in your journal. I have been using them in my weekly spread this week and I will share the results on my instagram later in the week.
These stickers were inspired by @papermintystudio. I bought some cute stickers from them a few weeks back and they included really simple stickers that were used to add notes to a spread, or to fill in small spaces. I wanted to create a simple sticker set that was useful and functional within a journal. So here we have it! The sticker paper is matte so can be written on, and the larger stickers are great for writing little notes or quotes.
There’s also days of the week stickers for those of you who do not wish to splurge on the whole Days of the Week pack. This is a great starter kit for anyone who is beginning their journal journey too!
One of my favourite designs from earlier in the year was my floral sticker sheets, however I was often reluctant to use them in my own journal. I realised this was because the original product did not have very accurately cut edges around the images, and they therefore took up a huge portion of the page. I decided to rectify this. I’ve made these drawings more detailed and the sticker cutting more accurate. I’ve also added cute little daisies and flowers to fill in the gaps on the sheets. I think I’ve made a real improvement!
I hope you like the new products, I would really love to hear what you think. You can find more images of them and info on how to buy on the Shop section of my website.
I’ll be back soon with more updates!
